Why I Think Journaling is a Great Tool for Manifesting

by | 28 Dec 2023

Hope you’re enjoying the last few days of 2023! Wishing our world, a much better and more peaceful 2024!

I thought I’ll end the year with a blog on journaling, which is something I have personally practiced a great deal over the years. It is a practice that allows you to quite easily tap into the state of the wish fulfilled and become aligned with the version of you who has their desire.

It is really like any other manifesting technique involving the mind, including affirmations and visualizations. But I personally find myself drawn to it when I have more resistance around a certain desire.

This is not to say that the other practices don’t obliterate resistance. They all absolutely do! But for me personally, being a highly visual person, I find power in putting pen to paper. It feels like I’m “locking in” my vision. And I most need that when I have resistance, or I’ve been heavily identified with a certain state for a long time. It also helps me keep track of my manifestations to be honest.

Another reason why I love journaling is because it forces you to focus on the state of the wish fulfilled. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I am a firm believer in mindless affirmations and you absolutely DO NOT need to focus on the words you’re repeating for them to impress into your subconscious mind. Through pure repetition, you are impressing, and your 3D will reflect that.

However, when you are focused on the words you’re writing or saying during a manifesting practice, as would be required when you’re journaling, and if done right, you are more likely to activate the feelings that come with the words you’re putting on paper. You may find it easier to tap into the feeling state of having, and that somehow calms the conscious mind. Being highly driven by the 5 senses and seeking validation, the conscious mind perceives the improved emotional state as “evidence” that things are shifting.

Therefore, I highly recommend journaling as a practice when you’re facing resistance or if you need that emotional boost that comes with focusing on and writing about your new story.

So what goes into journaling? What are you doing exactly?

At the very least, you want to write about your desired outcome (what that reality looks like, who you need to be in order to experience that reality (i.e. your identity), and what that higher version of you believes, among other things.

I cover this in more detail in this week’s video:
