Emotions are the Outcome Not the Source

For people who were first introduced to the concept of manifesting through the Law of Attraction, emotions were a big topic of conversation.  Stay positive. Keep positive emotions. Beware of negative emotions so you don’t create undesired circumstances…

Essentially, there was a great deal of talk about emotions. At least that is how it was commonly perceived.

It felt hard to shift from negative emotions because the more we felt bad about having negative emotions (for fear of creating negative outcomes), the more negative emotions we ended up activating!

It quickly became a vicious cycle.

But emotions are actually not the source! And perhaps that was really the message of Law of Attraction teachings.

In the past few weeks, I’ve been talking a lot about the two identities.

Identity X, which reflects the identity of the person who does not have their desire (e.g. I am not loved, chosen, pursued) and Identity Y, which reflects the identity of the person who does have their desire (e.g. I am loved, chosen and pursued).

Any time you choose an identity, you activate the corresponding inner state (i.e. the beliefs, thoughts emotions and actions) of that identity.

Emotions are part of that inner state.

Emotions reflect which of the identities you are really choosing.

When you’re feeling sad and heartbroken, it’s really a signal to you that you are currently CHOOSING Identity X.

Why are you choosing Identity X? Because you are using the 3D to determine who you are. You are using the 3D as the source and making “who you are” the outcome.

When instead, you should remind yourself that the 3D is the outcome of what you continue to choose, i.e. you are using the 3D to determine that you are not loved, chosen and pursued, and in doing so, you are CHOOSING Identity X and creating more of that in 3D.

So emotions themselves have no real creative power except to remind you which identity you are choosing right now. It may feel hard to disconnect from negative emotions. But it’s not so hard to recognize which identity is the SOURCE of the negative emotions.

 

In that awareness, you can choose again the more preferred identity.

If you find it hard to disconnect from Identity X, it’s because you are overly identified with it at the moment. You must zoom out first to shift to Identity Y. That’s why I recommend the Trinity Approach, where you can pause & reboot, and then choose Identity Y once again.

When you choose Identity Y ( I AM loved, chosen and pursued), you feel the relief once again because you have activated the inner state of that identity. You have automatically activated the corresponding emotions.

The inner state is a manifestation of the identity you are choosing. And soon to follow will be the 3D.

Remember, YOU are the source. You DECIDE who you are and then the 3D matches. Not the other way around.
